NEC Commencement Concert - Mendelssohn Octet
Helen was invited to be the 2nd violinist of the Mendelssohn Octet in this year’s Commencement Concert.
She will be performing the final movement alongside 7 other graduating peers from her year.
The octet has appeared in NEC’s commencement concerts of the past few years as a tradition, “a toast to the camaraderie and high level of musicianship of the graduating class”, to represent the Strings, Chamber Music and Orchestra departments in this very special concert.
Helen’s Graduation Recital
Helen’s Graduation Recital marks a beautiful end to her 2-year study for the Master of Music degree with Professor Donald Weilerstein’s guidance at the New England Conservatory. She will be performing with her mentor and friend, pianist Dina Vainshtein.
NEC Phil 10 - Mahler 7
Helen is appointed to lead as the Principal Second for the final concert of NEC Philharmonia this academic year.
The orchestra will be performing Mahler Symphony No. 7 at Jordan Hall with Hugh Wolff conducting.
